Meet Our Team

Dr. Gary Plotz

Dr. Plotz is a graduate of University of Minnesota Dental School, and has a SCB in Neuroscience from Brown University. He is originally from Hutchinson, MN. While attending the U of M, he was a member of Psi Omega Professional Dental Fraternity, volunteered with the Union Gospel Mission, and worked with the U of M Mobile Dental Unit.

Dr. Plotz is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Minnesota Dental Association (MDA), and he is an officer for the Southern District Dental Society (SDDS). He has served on the MDA Rural Taskforce to encourage access in underserved areas of Minnesota. Dr. Plotz is a member of the Slayton Kiwanis Club, is on the Murray County Hospice Board and serves on the Slayton Economic Development Authority (EDA).

He and his wife Betsy have three children. His hobbies include swimming, basketball, golf, and community activities. Dr. Plotz serves on his local church's executive committee and teaches Sunday School. He has completed Continuing Education courses in Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Cosmetics, Practice Management, Oral Surgery and Implant Placement.

Gary's grandfather was a dentist in Oshkosh, WI and has been an inspiration to him.

Kathy

Kathy received her Dental Assisting License from MN West College - Canby. She is married and has 3 children. She enjoys time with her family and grandchildren, flowers and gardening.

Sophie

Sophie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University - Mankato in 2005. She is married and has 3 young children. She enjoys spending time with family, running and going to baseball games.

Jan

Jan is an LPN with a background in long term care and development disabilities. She is married and has 3 children. She enjoys traveling and baking.

Laura

Laura graduated from Minnesota State University - Mankato in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She and her husband enjoy hunting and fishing together throughout the year. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, traveling and visiting friends.

Shanoah

Shanoah graduated from Minnesota State University - Mankato in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She lives with her husband and 2 daughters. In her free time, Shanoah enjoys spending time with family, working out, gardening and camping.
